One Direction are
apparently set to play a special concert for newly re-elected US President
Barack Obama.
The band have been invited to perform as a thank-you to both
girls for their help during the Presidential campaign, said the Daily Star. The
boys were originally invited earlier in the year but were unable to make it due
to a busy touring schedule.
The Daily Star said:
“It’s an open invitation for a date to be arranged that fits
in with everyone’s busy schedules,” the source said.
“It’s not every parent who can invite the hottest band in
the world to their home. They will be the envy of girls across the world.”
